Overview
Patient evacuation can become a major challenge when injuries occur in confined spaces, remote locations, or during mass casualty incidents. Traditional stretchers are often too large to store in compact kits or tactical gear, making lightweight evacuation tools valuable for emergency response.

The Rescue Essentials® QuikLitter™ Lite is an ultra-compact emergency litter designed for rapid casualty evacuation. It provides the same basic patient-carry capability as the standard QuikLitter but in a smaller, lighter package that can fit into cargo pockets or compact medical kits. Despite its reduced size, the litter has been tested to support loads up to 750 pounds.

How It Works
The QuikLitter Lite unfolds from a vacuum-packed package into a full-size soft litter capable of supporting a patient during transport. The design includes ten reinforced handles—four on each side plus one at the head and one at the foot—allowing multiple responders to carry the patient safely.

The durable nylon webbing structure distributes weight across the litter while allowing stable patient handling. Once deployed, the litter allows responders to carry patients through tight spaces, uneven terrain, or environments where wheeled stretchers are not practical. It is designed for lifting and carrying only and is not intended to be used as a drag device.
