Overview
The SOF® Tourniquet is a high-performance, field-proven tourniquet engineered for fast hemorrhage control with strong mechanical reliability and controlled application—built for real-world use by military and first responders.

How It Works
A reinforced, low-stretch compression band slides over the limb, then the buckle system allows quick engagement—even for confined spaces or trapped limbs. The slack indicator wedge gives a visual cue when slack has been removed (a critical step for effective occlusion and fewer windlass turns). A machined aircraft-grade aluminum windlass provides consistent torque and secures into the retention system (Tri-Ring Lock™ and TRAC).
