Overview
Severe bleeding can become life-threatening within minutes if it is not controlled quickly. Deep or heavily bleeding wounds often require wound packing combined with firm direct pressure to stop hemorrhage. Hemostatic gauze is designed to improve this process by helping the body form a stable clot while filling the wound cavity.

Celox™ Rapid Gauze is a Z-folded hemostatic gauze intended for rapid control of severe external bleeding. It is designed for wound packing in arterial, venous, and other serious bleeding injuries where standard gauze alone may not be enough. The dressing is built to pack quickly, reduce treatment time, and support bleeding control during patient movement and evacuation.

How It Works
Celox Rapid Gauze is packed directly into the wound to fill the injury channel and place pressure closer to the source of bleeding. Once packed, firm direct pressure is applied over the wound to support clot formation and stabilize the dressing in place.

The gauze is Z-folded, which allows it to feed smoothly during application and helps maintain control while packing. This format is especially useful in high-stress trauma care where speed and organization matter.
