QuikClot® EMS Rolled Gauze combines a flexible gauze dressing with kaolin, a mineral clotting activator that supports rapid clot formation. How It Works
QuikClot EMS Rolled Gauze incorporates kaolin into a nonwoven hydrophilic gauze dressing. When the gauze comes into contact with blood, the kaolin activates the body’s clotting cascade and helps accelerate clot formation at the wound site.

The gauze structure absorbs blood while allowing the dressing to be packed into wound cavities or wrapped over the injury to maintain pressure. The flexible material conforms to tissue surfaces and irregular wound channels, helping maintain compression where bleeding originates. The dressing is packaged in a sterile, easy-to-tear pouch that allows rapid access during emergency use.
